Dear parents
Please find below an overview of the activities at Vivian Fowler Memorial College from 17th November to 24th November 2016.
- The Vivian Fowler Memorial College debate team placed 2nd out of 10 schools at the AISEN Secondary schools debate competition held at Leadforte Gate School, Epe on Saturday, 19th November 2016.
- The open days for classes JSS1 – SS2 were held on the scheduled dates.
- The boarders’ dinner held on Saturday, 19th November 2016, was a great success. The students and their parents enjoyed the ambience, the food, the dance competitions and the really special MC, Chigurl. We thank all parents who attended the dinner.
FIRST TERM EXAMINATION
- This is to remind you that 1st term exams commence on Monday, 28th November, 2016 and end on Thursday, 8th December 2016. We encourage our parents to ensure that their daughters not only prepare well for the exams but also get adequate rest every night and have a good breakfast every morning. It is important that they are punctual to school each day and that they do not miss out on any exams.
- It is imperative for students to report to their exam room with all the stationery required for the exam, as they would not be allowed to borrow. The stationery should be carried in a transparent pouch.
- We request parents to refrain from making appointments for their daughters outside school during the exam period. It is imperative that students do not miss out on any exams. In case of an emergency, written permission should be taken from the school authorities.
END OF TERM:
The first term ends on Friday, 9th December 2016 at 12 noon, after the Christmas Carol Service, which begins at 10 am.
