HAIR-DO
We would like to emphasize that the prescribed hair style for each week must be STRICTLY adhered to.
UNIFORMS
Students should always be dressed in the proper school uniform and special attention should be paid to cardigans and socks.
DEBIT CARDS
The school is working on providing personalized debit cards to all students, in an effort to make transactions cashless. The weekly pocket money allowance remains the same. Parents can load money on the cards by paying cash to the bursary or transferring money into the school account, making due mention of their daughter’s name.
CONTINUING EDUCATION AND COUNSELLING FAIR 2017
The Continuing Education and Counselling fair has been moved from Saturday, 11th February 2017 to Saturday, 4th March 2017 due to the Lagos Marathon scheduled to hold on the 11th of February, which is expected to disturb movement in and around Lagos.
SECURITY
In view of the rising security concerns in the country, we would like to remind our parents of the steps put in place by the school to ensure the safety of our students.
It is imperative for students to have their School Angel ID cards at all times and use it to clock in and out of school every morning and afternoon respectively. All parents are requested to register themselves with School Angel immediately, if they have not already done so. Students who have lost their ID cards should buy a new one.
Day students will be allowed to leave the school only if accompanied by the authorized adult registered with school angel.
At close of school, all day students will be seated in the library till 5.00 pm after which they will be taken to the hostel. Any day student who has not been picked up by 5.30 pm will be required to stay in the hostel that night, for a fee.
We seek your co-operation in helping to make Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls a safe learning environment for our students.
We thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
