Please find below an overview of the activities at Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls from 5Th of January to 13Th January, 2017.
TEACHERS’ TRAINING:
Teachers attended a 2-day Seminar/Workshop on the 5th and 6th of January 2017, on Time and Classroom Management. This was facilitated by the High Rank Training Curriculum Development Company. (HRTCDC)
SCHOOL RESUMPTION
Boarders resumed back to the Hostel on Sunday 8th of January while all students commenced academic work on Monday 9th of January, 2017.
NEW STUDENTS
We welcome the following students to the Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls Family:
- IBUKUNOLUWA IBIRONKE JSS 1
- VANESSA IHEJIRIKA SS 2
SCHOOL INSPECTION
Inspectors from the office of Education Quality Assurance, Lagos state Ministry of Education visited our school on Tuesday 10th January, 2017.
TABLETS:
Tablets will be supplied to the JSS1 and other new students (who have paid for it) on Monday, 23rd January 2017. We sincerely apologize for the delay which was due to forex issues faced by our vendors.
PERSONAL HYGIENE AND HAIR-DO
We appeal to parents/guardians to pay particular attention to their daughters’ neatness and personal hygiene in the mornings before coming to school. Clean uniforms and underwear are to be worn daily and special attention should be paid to the use of anti-perspirant deodorants. Also, the prescribed hair style must be STRICTLY adhered to.
