Team Vivian Fowler Memorial College For Girls placed first and second in the robotic workshop and competition jointly organised by the Public Affairs section of the United States Consulate General, Lagos and Roborave International, a US-based robotics education academy.
This is the first international Robotics event to take place in Sub-Saharan Africa.
300 students from 30 schools and five states in Nigeria participated in the program.
Vivian Fowler was given special recognition as the only Girls school that participated in ROBORAVE Nigeria 2017.
