Inioluwa Ogunsanya and Gabriella Gabriel-Toby win SPE CTY Scholarship
We are extremely proud of our students Inioluwa Ogunsanya and Gabriella Gabriel-Toby for being selected as recipients of the 2020 SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) Lagos Section Scholarships for Secondary Schools, based on their performance at the 2020 SPE Catch Them Young (CTY) examinations conducted on the 25th of January, 2020.
The main objective of the Catch Them Young (CTY) program is to encourage the pursuit of a career in petroleum engineering.
The SPE Lagos Section Scholarship Award is an annual scholarship program that provides financial support to secondary school students who have demonstrated a track record of academic excellence in schools within the Lagos Section.
Each year the Society of Petroleum Engineers – SPE – Foundation, through the SPE Section Scholarship Support Program, as well as with individual candidates, awards the Gus Archie Memorial Scholarship to the most outstanding student preparing to attend university to pursue an Undergraduate Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
